🔹 National Affairs (India)

🔹 Banking, Economy & Finance
India’s Gross GST collection for January 2026 crossed ₹1.78 lakh crore, showing 12.4% year-on-year growth.
The RBI retained the repo rate at 6.50%, maintaining a neutral stance to balance inflation and growth.
India’s foreign exchange reserves stood at USD 648.3 billion, sufficient to cover 11.5 months of imports.
