Who can apply?
The essential qualification is 10+2 or Higher Secondary, a typing speed of 40 words per minute and working knowledge of computers. One year of experience in computer applications as on 1 October 2026 is desirable, not listed as essential. Applicants should check the official notification for the exact age-relaxation provisions, reservation documents and serving Defence personnel/Ex-Servicemen conditions.
General-category application fee is ₹500 and SC/ST fee is ₹300. Eligible Ex-Servicemen candidates entitled to the notified reservation are exempt from payment. Transaction charges may apply. Fee once paid is not refundable.

Common application errors to avoid
- Uploading mark sheets instead of the original or provisional qualification certificate where the notice requires a certificate.
- Submitting an unclear photograph, signature or experience certificate.
- Failing to upload EWS/ESM/serving Defence personnel documents in the prescribed format when claiming a benefit.
- Leaving mandatory fields incomplete or paying the fee without completing the application.
- Assuming one vacancy’s horizontal ESM reservation is an additional third post.
