The Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB) has published a set of recruitment result notices dated 29 and 30 October 2026. The most significant updates include provisional nominations for 31 PGT Mathematics candidates in the Directorate of Education and 22 Computer Lab/IT Assistant candidates in the New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC). DSSSB has also issued separate rejection notices for candidates whose e-dossiers were not uploaded.
This article explains what each notice means, the figures candidates should check and the distinction between provisional nomination and final appointment. Candidates should use their roll numbers and the official PDFs rather than relying on short result summaries.
1. DSSSB PGT Mathematics Result Notice No. 386
Result Notice No. 386, dated 30 October 2026, relates to PGT (Maths) Male and PGT (Maths) Female posts in the Directorate of Education, Government of NCT of Delhi, under Post Code 825/24. The recruitment was advertised under Advertisement No. 10/2024 for a total of 31 vacancies: 21 for PGT Maths Male and 10 for PGT Maths Female.
The online written examination was held on 12 and 13 April 2026. According to the result notice, the Board has provisionally nominated 31 candidates on the basis of marks obtained in the written examination and the claims made in the application forms. The allocation of posts/departments was made on a merit-cum-preference basis using the candidate preference module during e-dossier submission.

The dash indicates that the result notice does not list a cut-off for that category/post combination in the extracted cut-off table. Candidates should confirm the complete table in the official PDF. The cut-offs are the marks of the last provisionally nominated candidates, not a general qualifying standard for every DSSSB recruitment.
Important condition: provisional nomination
DSSSB states that document scrutiny had not been completed at the result stage. The Directorate of Education must verify eligibility, educational qualifications, age, reservation claims, caste/EWS certificates, identity and other relevant documents before issuing appointment offers. Inclusion in the result notice does not by itself confer a right to appointment. The notice also states that the recruitment process for Post Code 825/24 has been closed and that there will be no waiting panel under the combined examination scheme.
2. PGT Mathematics Rejection Notice No. 387
Alongside Result Notice No. 386, DSSSB issued Rejection Notice No. 387 on 30 October 2026 for the same PGT Mathematics post code 825/24. It lists five roll numbers and records the reason as “Dossier not uploaded”. Candidates concerned should read the rejection notice itself and check their roll number carefully. This notice is not a general cancellation of the PGT Maths result; it concerns the listed candidatures.
3. Computer Lab/IT Assistant Result Notice No. 384
Result Notice No. 384, dated 29 October 2026, relates to Computer Lab/IT Assistant in NDMC under Post Code 96/23. The original advertisement notified 22 vacancies. DSSSB provisionally nominated 22 candidates on the basis of the computer-based examination, qualifying skill test and claims made in the application forms.
The notice provides useful process figures: 291 candidates had been shortlisted for the skill test; 233 appeared on 7 February 2026; and 182 qualified. Of those who qualified, 74 candidates were directed to upload e-dossiers in August 2026. The final provisional nominations are subject to verification by the user department.

The notice also provides a waiting/reserve panel. A waiting-list position does not guarantee appointment: the user department may operate the panel only if a relevant vacancy arises, and in accordance with the conditions and validity period stated in the result notice. Candidates should not treat a waiting-list nomination as equivalent to the main provisional selection.
4. Computer Lab/IT Assistant Rejection Notice No. 385
DSSSB also published Rejection Notice No. 385 on 29 October 2026 for Post Code 96/23. It lists eight candidates whose candidature was rejected because the e-dossier was not uploaded. Candidates should compare their roll number against the official notice and read the reason stated against it.
How to check the DSSSB result
- Visit the official DSSSB Results page.
- Locate Result Notice No. 386 for PGT Mathematics or Result Notice No. 384 for Computer Lab/IT Assistant.
- Download the relevant PDF and use the search function to find your roll number.
- Read any corresponding rejection notice separately; do not rely only on the provisional nomination list.
- If provisionally nominated, follow the user department’s document-verification and appointment instructions.
When comparing cut-off marks, use the correct post and category column. The PGT Mathematics figures relate to separate male and female post groups, while the Computer Lab/IT Assistant table includes additional horizontal or special-category segments. Do not compare these numbers across different recruitments or treat them as a common DSSSB pass mark.
What candidates should understand about provisional nomination
In these notices, DSSSB has processed results using examination marks, skill-test qualification where relevant and information claimed in the online application. The Board expressly states that the user department must verify the original documents and eligibility before appointment. This includes educational qualifications, age, identity and reservation certificates. A candidate whose name appears in a provisional list should therefore keep original documents and valid certificates ready and monitor communications from the Directorate of Education or NDMC, as applicable.
Similarly, a rejection notice based on a missing e-dossier is specific to the candidates and post code named in that notice. It should not be interpreted as a blanket rejection of every candidate who participated in the recruitment.
