How to check the qualified list
- Open the official CSIR-NAL Career page.
- Find the notification titled “Result of Trade Test for recruitment to the posts of Technician-1 under various post codes against Advt. No. 05/2025”.
- Open the result PDF dated 22 October 2026.
- Go to the annexure corresponding to your post code. The PDF contains separate lists for the eight post codes.
- Search for your application ID and read the remark in the same row. Check the post code carefully before drawing a conclusion.
- Save a copy of the official result PDF for future reference.
Use the application ID and post code shown in your application documents. Avoid relying on third-party lists or social-media screenshots, which may omit pages or misread the annexure. This article does not reproduce candidates’ personal details; the official PDF is the correct place to verify an individual result.
What happens after qualifying the trade test?
CSIR-NAL has stated that candidates who qualified in the Trade Test will be called for a Written Test. The exact date, time and venue were not announced in the 22 October result notification. The organisation said these details would be notified shortly. Candidates should therefore not treat any unofficial date circulating online as confirmed.
Keep the registered email address active, check the CSIR-NAL website regularly and retain the original application and trade-test records. When the written-test notice is released, check the reporting time, venue, syllabus, examination mode, permitted documents and any updated instructions. A trade-test qualification is progression to the next stage; it is not a final appointment or guarantee of selection.
What if the result shows “Not Qualified”?
The notification allowed candidates who were not qualified to submit a representation by email to recruitment.nal@csir.res.in no later than 5:00 PM on 30 October 2026. The notice expressly stated that representations received through another mode or after the deadline would not be considered. That deadline has now passed. Candidates should not assume that a late representation will be accepted; any further remedy or clarification must be based on a fresh official instruction from CSIR-NAL.
Why this result matters
The trade test is a skill-based stage in a technical recruitment process. It assesses whether candidates can demonstrate practical competence relevant to the notified Technician-1 post code. The result is therefore not interchangeable with a written examination result or a final merit list. The next written test is a separate stage, and candidates who qualify must follow the new schedule once CSIR-NAL issues it.
