Our Editorial Policy

Daily GK Update publishes current affairs, banking awareness, competitive-exam study material and exam resources for readers in India. Our goal is to make information clear, useful and suitable for revision.

How we research

We prefer primary sources such as government departments, statutory regulators, official institutions, international organisations and official examination bodies. Secondary sources may be used for discovery, but important facts should be checked against an appropriate primary source before publication.

How we add value

Where we report a current event, we aim to explain what happened, why it matters for an exam candidate, and which facts are most useful for revision. We do not intend to copy or republish another publisher’s article.

Corrections

Accuracy matters. When we identify a factual error, outdated information or misleading wording, we correct the page and update the article rather than leaving known errors unaddressed. Readers can report corrections through our Contact Us page.

Authorship

Articles are published by the Daily GK Update Editorial Team. Editorial content is reviewed for clarity, relevance and source quality before publication.

Advertising and independence

Advertising, sponsorship or affiliate relationships, where used, will be kept distinct from editorial content. An advertisement does not determine an editorial conclusion.
