It is the window shown for downloading the admit card, not proof that every candidate’s physical test takes place on all those dates. How to check the admit card
- Open the official SSB Download Admit Card page.
- Find the row for advertisement 08/2026-CAPF and “CAPFs (AC) Exam-2026”. Confirm that the stage is listed as PST AND PET.
- Use the corresponding official download link or individual-view option. Enter only the details requested by the government portal.
- Download and save the call letter. Check the candidate’s name, roll/registration details, stage, allotted test date, reporting time, venue and all document or conduct instructions.
- Keep a secure digital copy and print the call letter if the notice requires a hard copy. Do not wait until the last moment to resolve a login problem.
What to verify before travelling
Do not rely on a generic web article or the portal’s overall date range for your personal schedule. The individual document is the place to verify the reporting time, exact centre, identity proof and any photograph, certificate or medical-document instructions. If a detail appears incorrect, use the official contact or grievance channel given by the recruiting authority promptly.
Plan the journey with enough time for entry checks. Read any prohibited-item rules printed on the call letter, and follow the directions issued by the test centre. Avoid carrying documents that are not requested if doing so creates a security or storage problem; equally, do not leave out a mandatory item because it was absent from an unofficial checklist.
Do not confuse CAPF (AC) with SSC GD
Two different competitive-exam streams can use similar abbreviations. The CAPFs (AC) Exam-2026 entry on this page is the Assistant Commandants examination and its PST/PET stage. SSC GD recruitment is a separate process for Constable (GD) and related posts. Candidates should match the authority, advertisement number and exact post before downloading a call letter or interpreting a result notice.
This distinction matters because the stages, eligibility, physical standards, test notices and candidate portals are not interchangeable. A notice issued for SSC GD is not a substitute for the CAPF Assistant Commandants call letter.
What if the download link is not working?
Check that you have selected the correct advertisement and recruitment stage. Confirm that your browser can open the official domain, check the connection and retry after a short interval if the portal appears busy. Use only the official website’s recovery or contact process if the problem continues. Do not share your password, date-of-birth credentials or application data with a third party offering to download the document for you.
If the online download window has closed by the time you read this, look for a fresh official notice or helpdesk instruction rather than relying on an unofficial mirror. An article cannot extend an official deadline or guarantee that a closed link will be reopened.
