Class VI lasts 150 minutes and is offered in 13 mediums; Class IX lasts 180 minutes and is in English. The examination is offline on OMR sheets with MCQs. Follow the bulletin for the syllabus, marking and qualifying rules. Entrance qualification is not by itself a guarantee of a seat: school-wise admission, counselling, medical and document-verification requirements apply.

How to apply safely

  1. Open the official AISSEE-2027 portal and complete new registration with the candidate’s correct details.
  2. Read the bulletin; select the correct class, school/pathway and eligibility category.
  3. Enter details carefully and upload the photograph, signature and documents in prescribed formats.
  4. Pay the fee by 2 December, 11:50 p.m. (or use the late window if necessary). A saved form without successful payment/confirmation is not a completed application.
  5. Download the confirmation page and keep the application number and receipt securely.
  6. Use the correction window only as NTA permits; check the notice before submitting changes.
  7. Check city intimation on 11 January and admit card from 25 January 2027.
