CBSE Direct Recruitment Quota Examination 2026 result: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) issued a result notice on 5 November 2026 for Superintendent, Junior Accountant and Junior Assistant. It provisionally shortlists 78 candidates and schedules document verification for 17 November.
The shortlist is based on Tier-II objective (OMR) and descriptive examinations followed by the skill/typing test held on 11 July 2026. It is not an unconditional appointment list: eligibility and documents remain subject to verification.

Provisional shortlist is not appointment
CBSE states that inclusion in the provisional list does not create a right to appointment. Selection remains subject to document genuineness, eligibility under Recruitment Rules and the advertisement, and identity verification against photographs, signatures/handwriting and admission records. Candidature may be cancelled if a candidate is ineligible or disqualified. Appointment offers are issued separately after CBSE is satisfied.
For equal aggregate marks, the notice says the older candidate is placed higher using date of birth. CBSE also reserves the right to correct errors or omissions detected later.
