What Is GSLV?
The Geosynchronous Satellite Launch Vehicle (GSLV) is India’s launch vehicle family designed for missions requiring high-energy orbital insertion, particularly communication and other spacecraft headed toward geosynchronous transfer orbits. ISRO describes the GSLV as a three-stage vehicle using solid, liquid and cryogenic propulsion stages.
